Happy New Year!!!!!!

Yes its that time again when we evaluate our lives. We evaluate our realtionships to see if we've gone deeper, maybe think of some friendships that have grown apart. We evaluate ourselves, how much hair have I lost or how much has turned grey. How many pounds have I gained? Are we better off financially than a year ago? Some set resolutions for the new year. To all of you I have one piece of advice. Don't drink any drinks with fish in them.

The Year of The Gift Card

This year for Christmas I recieved more gift cards than gifts. This means one of 2 things, 1 I'm hard to buy for, 2 I'm hard to buy for. Good job family you got me just what I wanted. Something is Really Wrong

This was not a great way to start the day. Shortly after filling my 2nd favorite coffee mug this morning I started hearing strange cracking sounds. Maybe my Mom is right, the coffee is to strong.

The Green Dog

Still my #1 favorite coffee cup. It has survived countless moves and roomates. May the green dog live on.

Follow the Light

Tonight I am reminded of how great it is to have great friends. I know this because I have not always had great friends. Its not something that comes easy for me. I am thankful, because I am learning to be a friend as well. To all my friends............ Thanks!

There is no eye in Lincoln

Ok so actually there is no "I" in Lincoln, I street that is. What happened there? What is the logical explanation? Did it just get left out? Maybe someone never learned that ABC song. Is there something bad about living on a street called I? There is no Z street either I looked in the phone book. More unanswered questions.

The season of Winter

Winter is the hardest season for me to get used to. I don't like it. Is seems like a cruel, oppressive, unwanted event. Its the same way with the seasons of life. Winter comes we knew it would, its been getting cooler outside, but the first snowfall is always somewhat shocking. Its hard to believe thats its not here forever, that it is a season, it will pass.
