The season of Winter
Winter is the hardest season for me to get used to. I don't like it. Is seems like a cruel, oppressive, unwanted event. Its the same way with the seasons of life. Winter comes we knew it would, its been getting cooler outside, but the first snowfall is always somewhat shocking. Its hard to believe thats its not here forever, that it is a season, it will pass.

One thing I DO appreciate about winter is that because it is so brutal it makes the other seasons so much more wonderful. I think about people in San Diego where the weather is pretty much always perfect, do they appreciate the perfectness? I just don't know.
