BBQ

Last night we went to Busters BBQ on 48th st. I had the 1/2 rack, it was amazing. You know how sometimes you just need a BBQ fix and nothing else will do. They also serve Ramo's pizza which is handy if you have a non BBQ person with you, and they are open until 1:00 am with a full menu! Late night eating, that will take away those winter blues!

New Rubber

Today I'm buying tires for the first time in my life. Something about this make me feel grown up, responsible, etc...The smell of rubber at the tire store reminds me of my Dad. He was always changing a tire, fixing a flat, or working on some impossible looking project that He had all figured out.

I used to have a handle on life...

This morning the handle broke. This being the first thing that was happening was not a good omen to what the day held. Normally this would not be as alarming. However, my first appointment was at the dentist office. I seriously considered just going back to bed after shutting the phone off. I talked myself off the ledge, took a shower and went about my day. Dentist appointment no cavities 120.00, new toilet handle 2.50, having a handle on life agiain.......

I Voted

I voted, not to cast someone off the island or for a model or even for someone who might be able to sing. I voted for a real person in a real world, reality.
