Another Technology Update

Here's whats happening. Apple has released thier blue tooth mouse, lots being written about it didn't really read anything about it don't really care. There is a recall on some mac book pro batteries 15" models. Someone invented an umbrella that controls your ipod, that will really come in handy for all those emo kids that get caught out in the sun except that its white, black is the only way to go with all that pale skin. Finally a 3rd Dell laptop has exploded, engadget has some really nice pics.

Technology Update

Ive been given the awesome responsibility of keeping Dane updated on technology while he is doing Young Life for the next 20 days! As we all know a lot can change in 20 days. Word on the Street is an announcement of an iphone could happen in August! This is only a rumor and no one even knows if an iphone even exists. In other news another Dell laptop just burst into flames and there are some great pics, there is just something that makes me laugh when anything burst into flames. Thats about all that is happening at this very second other than Pam and Kid got married again for the 4th time but thats not really news thats just a sad commentary of our world. I'll keep you updated on the latest, don't get too sun burned.

Dashboard Confessional

My current obsession, favorite album of the summer, is Dashboard Confessional's "Dusk and Summer". Its the kind of album that makes you want to be in love, makes you want to stay out all night. I especailly like the song "currents" about a relationship ending, and the song "dusk and summer" about falling in love with a girl on a summer night.

Thinking of Snow

Watching Christmas movies is one of my favorite things to do this time of year. It seem so long ago that the snow was falling and we were not able to go outside without shoes or a jacket. I'm on the couch with the air conditioner blowing full blast watching Its a Wonderful Life, what more could you want?

As fate would have it, the hottest day of the year would be the day that I ran out of deodorant. No warning just gone, nothing, not even a hint of something. Thanks fate, you make me smell like a rose, running late to my first appointment. Apparently fate hates me.

Road trips, coolers, blowing up air mattresses and flotation devices, sand between your toes and in your sleeping bag, floating lazily for hours, sunburning the top of your feet, boat rides, skiing, games into the early morning, pancakes overlooking the lake, coffee to start the day. This is what summer is made of.
