Giving Thanks

One thing I've always loved about my Dad is his love for his animals. He is into goats at this time, and does a great job taking care of them. This goat was born on Thanksgiving Day.

Dumb Things I Think About

I Recently purchased a new Bible, a small, leather, easy to travel with Bible. The leather cover on this Bible is soooo soft, it made me start to think about leather. Why is some leather so soft and other so stiff? I suppose it has something to do with how its processed, but it makes me wonder, you never really know what part of the cow it came from. You would think the "underbelly" would be really soft and the back would be really hard and stiff. Do I have an "underbelly" bible cover? If you were a cow, would that be your highest calling? I mean if you had a choice what would you choose? You could be a belt, a cell phone case, a pair of itialian shoes, a sofa, or to hold the word of God?

The Cutest Bumblebee

Tatum Grace Paulsen, the cutest bumblebee ever, showed up at my door on halloween. Although she did not demand candy (not in the diet yet) she sure is sweet.

I Love Coffee

Do you ever wake up in the morning and the only reason you get out of bed is to drink a great cup of coffee? I love to watch the leaves fall outside as I plan my day over a great cup.
